Remember the Future: The Distortions Unlimited Story takes readers behind the scenes at Distortions Unlimited, the haunted attraction industry’s leading supplier of props and animatronics. The book explores the company’s humble beginnings as a Halloween mask company in the late 1970s through to the present. Written by Lee Lambert, author of The Illustrated History of Don Post Studios, who was given unprecedented access to the archives of Distortions Unlimited and the lives of co-owners Ed & Marsha Edmunds, both newcomers and long-time fans of Distortions will be entertained by this in-depth volume. With Foreword by Jordu Schell.
When Jim Foss, the owner of Party Palace, saw the Andromeda mask, he asked Ed if he could make more to sell. Although Ed didn’t realize it at the time, this was the beginning of his career as a professional monster-maker and also the beginning of Distortions Unlimited.
The book is also available with a Mystery Collector Slipcase designed and created by Distortions Unlimited’s founder, Ed Edmunds, to be unveiled at Mask Fest 2017.
